The area between Portsmouth and Southampton is served with excellent rail and road communications. We have main line links to London from Portsmouth, Portchester and Fareham. The M27 motorway runs between Portsmouth and Southampton and joins the M3 and A3 routes to London. Eastwards, the A27 goes to Brighton and westward, Bornemouth is within easy travelling distance.

Southampton and Bournemouth both have airports serving international and domestic flights. Gatwick and Heathrow are easily accessible vis motorway routes.

There are regular ferries to the Isle of Wight, France and Spain.

A regular commuter ferry links Gosport to Portsmouth and the mainline railway station.
